Until we hear otherwise from Playground and/or TR's new US label, the following steps still apply.

Requirements to join the street team.
A) You must be a US resident. If you're not in the US, this is the official street team to join.
B) Be willing to help promote The Rasmus. Dance

How to Join:
Step 1: Register on this forum. **Be sure to put your state or a major city in your Profile. We need to know which region and state group you fall into.

Step 2: Click here to join the Street Team group here.

Note: You will not be added to the Street Team group until you have your state or a major city in your profile's Location field. It's helpful for everyone to know where people are when we're talking to each other.

Additional Information:
* Apryl (Northern Lights) & Nicole (gitawolf) & I keep on top of the requests to be added in Step 3. Usually you're added within a couple hours. If it's been more than a day and you've got your state in the location field, send us a private message.

Question, I signed up for that a week or so ago and after I submit it, it goes to the main page I think, no confirmation or anything. I just wanted to make sure, was I suppossed to get some kind of confirm. or no? Just checking all my bases here. Thanks in advance.

your signed up. I didn't get a confirmation either but Im sure we are all signe dup for it. Jen is in charge of that and she also manages quite a few other Street Teams so she is a busy little woman. Once it gets closer to the release date things will start happening for The Street Team.

The DRT website has been down since yesterday... When it comes back online I'll sign up. I have some questions though. What exactly are the responsibilities of a street team member? I know we promote the band and such (hanging up posters, passing out flyers, talking about the band), but are we required to have meetings or be at specific places at certain times? I am a college student, have a job, and a gf so don't have a whole lot of free time.

your state leader would decide if you guys have meetings or not. Pretty much your job as a team member is to do just as you posted. post flyers and etc. I know we don't all have loads of free time to do this (I wish I did) but it doesn't have to all be done in one day or even a week. Just do what you can. Very Happy

Ok, I signed up for the street team, but it took me directly to the front page of the site when I clicked submit. Theres errors all over the DRT website and it looks pretty messed up. I'm worried because of all the problems with the site, that they won't receive my application to become a street team member. Anyway for me to find out if it went through?

Don't worry, we'll get everyone situated. Just be sure to click the link to get into the Street Team forums here. We require people to put their state or if they live in a major identifiable city, that's ok too. Just so we have some idea where you are and what state & region you belong to.

Ok I've updated the forums to make it clearer exactly what people need to do be on the Street Team.

I pm'd a bunch of people several days ago asking them to please add the state to their Location field. Most people complied and I appreciate that.

The remaining holdouts have til Thursday to add State to their location field in their profile or I'll start removing them from the Street Team group.

To add the state, click on the Profile link at the top of any page and scroll down to the Location field and enter your state and then save the profile.

I just removed about 6 people from the Street Team group so if you can't access the Street Team forums anymore...

ADD YOUR STATE TO YOUR PROFILE

then click the link in step 3 above to get back in.

they dont give confirmations but i did recive gwar stuff.....they should start sending the rasmus promo stickers, posters, cards etc around the end of september since the new album comes out october 10th Smile

Now if you just add your state to your profile and do Step 3 in the top post of this thread, you can get into see all the cool Street Teamer chat.

I seriously recommend doing this asap if you're going to a concert.

ive been signed up on the DRT site..ive recieved my rasmus posters and flyers..put them up where ever i could around town..i dont know if i signed up right on here..guess ill find out soon..! **yay..get to see the rasmus tomorow night!!!(fort worth)
