yes lauri lost a bet and had to cut his hair... BUT!! It looooks goooood ;)
the bad thing about the bet was he dislocated his shoulder trying to do a move on his skateboard. But i don't know what Pauli and Ville would have to do if they lost the bet.

I'm more upset about what it does to the image of the band rather than how Lauri looks with it.

I didn't like it at first, but now its cute.
So...he lost a bet to Ville and Pauli? LOL that boy needs to win! And...not hurt himself. He's just like Jimmy. Jimmy'll do something to impress the guys or something and a couple months ago he lost a b-ball game and punched a tiled wall and broke his hand. Stupid men!

I don't see how it affects their image at all. It's just hair, it shouldn't put anything on how the band looks as a whole. It's all about the music in my opinion, not the physical appearance.

Sadly, not everyone thinks that way...wish they did, though... For the more nieve people who're just into what's cool, they'll see his hair and think "emo band." Depending on what kinda music they're into, they'll either listen or they won't, no matter that TR's music is just plain good. All they'll see is the hair. Sad as it is, I know people like that.  That's why Magnet and I have lamented the hair cut as we have. *shrug*

OMG! wow. I at first thought of Davey from AFI. But immediately after, I loved it. I love it!! change is good. Even if he did lose a bet to get that hair do. Hell, I feel like I need a new do for a new start lol
Though the spiky, blond hair is totally reminiscent of the past, I really like his hair right now. It's kinda punk. Plus I like brunettes
You can't expect a band to look and sound the same forever.

Of course you cant... but like I said... one of the reasons I fell in love with TR was the fact that they were so unique and different and I could relate to that. BEFORE I found out it was only a bet, the fact Lauri did that to his hair seemingly annihilated the feeling they were so unique. I thought he had willingly decided to be like every other.... band that is popular now that has that style. But as petty as it sounds, now that I know it was a be it isnt half as disheartening =P

My friend described it as Davey Havok-ish...Lauri didn't shave THAT much off, thank the gods.
To be completely honest I don't like it at all. But like Idril said you can't expect them to be the same forever. And Lauri's such a chameleon.
Ohhh to Hades with manners Lauri's new hair looks shitty! I love you Lauri but COME ON!!!!
